Tamon Okubo
(1938 - )

Born in 1938, Tamon Okubo travelled Australia on an architectural study tour in 1961. During this trip, he visited Robin Boyd at Walsh Street, and would later write an article on the house, published in 1962 in Japan Interior Design. Okubo went on to work for Kenzo Tange from 1964 to 1970, spending time on the design team for Expo 70.
